What is gold paydirt?
Gold paydirt is a mixture of sand, gravel, and other materials that have been sourced from gold-bearing locations. These materials are processed and packaged for individuals who want to pan for gold. It allows users to experience the excitement of prospecting from the comfort of their homes.
How does gold paydirt work?
When you purchase gold paydirt from us, you will receive a bag of material that contains real gold of various sizes. Using basic panning techniques, you can separate the gold from the surrounding materials. It’s a fun and educational way to learn about gold prospecting.
What if I don’t know how to pan for gold?
That’s ok! Head over to YouTube and search for “how to pan for gold”. There are thousands of videos that will explain in detail the panning process.
How to pan for gold: 1) Start with a small amount of paydirt in your pan. 2) Add water to your pan. 3) Gently shake and swirl the pan to let the heavy material (including gold) settle to the bottom of the pan. 4) Gradually wash away the lighter materials until you see gold in your pan.
How big will the gold be in my paydirt?
All of our paydirt contains only BIG gold nuggets. The largest nuggets are found in our Grizzly Claim and Sasquatch Claim paydirt.
Am I guaranteed to find gold in this paydirt?
Yes! Every bag of paydirt we ship out has guaranteed real gold from Alaska in it. There will be more gold found in our 40 pound bags of paydirt compared to our 5 pound bags, but every bag will contain real gold.
What is the best method to recover gold from paydirt?
This is perhaps the most important question. We have found that the best way to recover gold from paydirt is to use a simple gold pan. Hand pan a small amount of the material slowly in order to recover 100% of the gold. We recommend hand panning the material multiple times to ensure all the gold is recovered. Other methods, like using a sluice, table, etc can work, but are not recommended because unless they are set up perfectly, gold will be lost during the recovery process.
How long will it take for my paydirt to be delivered?
Orders are processed within 1 or 2 business days. We ship all orders using Priority Mail, which delivers anywhere within the USA within 2 or 3 days. This is fastest, most cost-effective shipping method available. Delivery times may vary based on your location and the time of year. To prevent theft, we ship all orders discreetly in packages that do not have the words “gold” or “paydirt” written on them.
